February Blues

I had not seen this before my last two posts, but here's Ann Coulter doing what she does best with the idiot Hannity. Scroll down to see the ghoul girl explain why Hillary is more conservative than McCain.

Meanwhile, in the real world today, the DoD has confirmed the deaths of 3,952 members of the U.S. military since the Iraq invasion in March 2003, according to Iraq Coalition Casualties.

The Real McCain

Perhaps the reason for McCain's surprising lurch forward in the primaries is his weakness as an actual candidate. If he's given the Republican nomination, Clinton is bound for the White House, which as I postulated Saturday, seems to be the Republican agenda for 2008.

Campaign Rant: Pre-Tuesday

Well, the pack has been winnowed. We've seen the surprising resurrection of Warmonger the Senior, John McCain, as the likely Republican candidate. The Democrats are slobbering over the junior and more junior warmongers, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and it appears that More Junior is winning the popular imagination.

I suspect John Edwards will end up on the victor's ticket and I predict the popular vote would make Mr. Obama the victor. But how can we expect that our voting machines will account with any accuracy this time around?

I think the current crew of murderers want Mrs. Clinton to take the helm. I think they want her more than they want Daddy Warmonger. They want Hillary to be the face that takes us into the next four years: the downward spiral of the U.S. economy, the ongoing establishment of corporate empire in the middle east, the continuing exploitation of the working class. As the well-laid plans of Dick & George come to fruition, Hillary will be pilloried for the meltdowns throughout the Union and abroad. As Junior Warmonger and Master Opportunist, meanwhile, Hillary will profit tremendously (as she has all along) from her participation in the further dismantling of democracy in the U.S. A., even as she is blamed for it by her virulent critics.

No neutrality on my part. And while I am not deluded that Mr. Obama will offer much alternative, I am inspired by his campaign. Mostly by the amazing young people who have come of age during Bushco's dirty reign. They still believe democracy is about what WE, THE PEOPLE want. What offers me hope is that so many people are willing to believe that into being.
